Among the jewellery houses that have set up shop in Paris, David Morris has managed to seduce the lover of beautiful stones that I am without much difficulty. Synonymous with elegance and a certain opulence that is perfectly assumed, the house always gives me the pleasure of unveiling some quite extraordinary gems.

Located in the heart of the Vendôme district, in a pastel pink setting that is as welcoming as it is delicate, I have had the pleasure of coming here regularly for the past year to admire and share with you the remarkable pieces that pass through the French capital: a gold bracelet set with almost 44 carats of natural, untreated Kashmir sapphires, a ring featuring a rare 12.30 carats, perfectly matched Colombian no oil emeralds, a ring set with an exceptional sapphire cabochon of over 64 carats… And I could go on and on. Founded in 1962 by David Morris, the eponymous house is now run by his son Jeremy who, season after season, offers to see often astonishing pieces.

The house does not offer thematic collections in high jewellery. It regularly unveils new creations according to the house’s acquisitions. This past fashion week offered me the chance to admire remarkable fine pearls, chandelier earrings revealing cascades of diamonds and Paraiba tourmalines, old mine emeralds, pink coral bead tassels… A beautiful piece, at the height of a house that never disappoints me!
