Since 18 February and until 8 March 2016, Sotheby’s is offering a magnificent exhibition in London dedicated to preparatory drawings for jewellery. More than 300 plates are on display for visitors to see, allowing them to enter the world of Cartier, Van Cleef and Arpels and Bolin and to better understand the art of gouache drawings.
This event is made possible thanks to a private collector who is lending his collection of drawings from the 1890s to around 1950 for the occasion.
