Considered as one of the most daring and creative jewellers when he set up in the 1960s, the company has never given the lie to this reputation since! This book will take you on a journey into the history of the company and help you to get to know this craftsman better. Come and meet Jean Dinh Van, between anecdotes, quotations and presentation of the iconic pieces of the house.

The house’s jewellery is known for the contemporary and minimalist style that characterises the house’s creations.

The book is written by Bérénice Geoffroy-Schneiter. A journalist and art critic, she has collaborated with numerous magazines (Beaux-Arts Magazine, L’Œil, L’Objet d’art, Le Journal des arts, etc.) and has published several works on the arts and jewellery. For Éditions Assouline, she is the author, among others, of Parures ethniques, Le culte de la beauté (2001), of two volumes of Arts premiers (2005 and 2006) and has just signed a book on the jewellery of Van Cleef & Arpels (2014).

This book has 80 pages and 80 illustrations. Available in November, 19 €.
